Veeram To Veerudokkade – Ajith's Magic Continues At Box Office.

Ajith Kumar's dream run, which started with Arrambam, has continued as his Veerudokkade, the Telugu version of his Veeram, has opened up to positive reviews. The audience from Andhra Pradesh seems to have given good reviews for the dubbed version of the Tamil flick.

As far as critics are concerned, Veerudokkade got mixed reviews as they did not find it as a regular masala movie with nothing new in it. But it appears like audience have liked it as they found the film as a perfect commercial entertainer.

After the success of Veeram, there were attempts to remake it in Telugu rather than dubbing it. There was a huge demand for the remake rights, which made Vijaya Productions plan for its remake in Tollywood. The talks were on and Venkatesh and Nagarjuna were approached. But the actors, in spite of liking the project, turned down the offer for different reasons.

It forced Vijaya Productions to change their strategy and sell the dubbing rights. Omix Creations came forward and purchased the dubbing rights.

However, the early reports emerging from trader says that Veerudokkade has got a good opening at Andhra Pradesh Box Office. Though the figures are not available at this stage, the industry observers say that the first day collection has met the producer's expectation.

Ajith's Veeram Team To Reunite Again!

On the occasion of the completion of 50 days of Veeram, there seems to be a good news for all those Ajith Kumar fans out there. Well, the same team is likely to come together again for yet another action-packed family entertainer.

Ajith Kumar, following the success of Veeram, had expressed his wish to work with Siruthai Siva again. The director was happy to hear such words from Thala and instantly decided to reunite again. Siva seems to have a word with writers Bharathan and Boopathy Raja on the same and they were excited about the idea.

Siruthai Siva wants to repeat the same team and he is also keen on casting his favourite Tamanna Bhatia in the female lead role. The director believes that it is an honour to work with Ajith Kumar again and he will leave no stone unturned to make the project possible. The scripting works are in the early stage and it will not be materialised soon.

At least, it takes one more year for them to put the things in place and it is only possible in 2015. On the latest development, an industry insider says that Ajith Kumar often preferred directors, who has good rapport with him.

Ajith's 'Veeram' Successfully Enter 50th Day.

Ajith's "Veeram" will be successfully completing 50 days in a few screens across Tamil Nadu today (28 February).

"Veeram” which released on 10 January, received fantastic response from Ajith fans upon their release. Despite several new releases in the last one month, "Veeram” managed to attract audiences to theatres. The films have turned out to be "Paisa Vasool" entertainers at the box office.

Veeram

After doing back-to-back stylish action flicks, Ajith took up a village-based subject like "Veeram." Thala's (as he is fondly referred by his fans) dhoti clad appearance and his famous salt and pepper look received rave comments from the fans.

The actor appeared in the role of an elder brother to four siblings played by Vidarth, Bala, Munish and Suhail. For the first time, he teamed up with Tammanaah in the film, directed by "Siruthai" Siva.

"Veeram" is a mass masala entertainer with all the commercial elements including action, sentiments, romance, comedy, punch dialogues and songs. The film received mixed reviews from critics upon its release. However, Ajith fans lapped it up and gave big thumbs up for the action entertainer. Families too thronged the theatres to watch the film.

The Ajith starrer took a solid opening on the first day of its release and the 10-day-long Pongal holidays helped the film post fantastic collections at the Tamil Nadu box office. It also performed decent business in other Indian states as well as in overseas markets.

With "Veeram" success, Ajith has two back-to-back hits including "Arrambam." It remains to be seen if the actor will be able to sustain it and hit a hat-trick with "Thala 55", a big-budget Gautham Menon directorial.
