It was an helicopter
scene in Billa and a car chasing scene in Arrambam that showed Ajith Kumar's
desire to perform action sequences on his own without using body double. Now,
he seems to have raised the bar as in his latest movie Veeram, he has done a
stunt sequence on a train.
Director Siruthai Siva
has spilled the beans over the action sequence in forthcoming Arrambam. The
filmmaker himself was tensed when Ajith Kumar performed the stunt sequence.
Even though he knew that Thala was pushing his limits, the director couldn't
stop because the actor was eager on doing the action scene on his own.
It was a two-minute
scene where Ajith Kumar was flirting with danger. Ajith Kumar also told Siva
not to change his concept of filming the scene just because he was performing.
Siruthai Siva says that such scenes would give shivers to action directors too,
but the Mankatha actor confidently performed it.
On the other end, Ajith
Kumar, who injured his right leg during the shooting of his last release
Arrambam, will be undergoing a surgery soon.
Veeram also features
Tamanna Bhatia, Santhanam and others in the cast. It will hit the screens in
January and the audio of the flick will hit the stores in December.
