Bollywood superstar
Salman Khan seems have set his eyes on yet another South film. The actor is now
interested to take a Tamil film to Bollywood. Well, it is none other than
Ajith's Veeram, which has become one of the biggest hits of Pongal this year.
Recently, Salman Khan himself has said recently
that he has no qualms in starring South remakes at a press meet of his Hindi
movie Jai Ho. It appears like he had a reason to say that as he was approached
to star in the remake of Ajith Kumar's Veeram.
Reports say that Pritish Nandy has acquired
the rights of Veeram and he wants to cast Salman Khan in the lead role. It is
said that Jacqueline Fernandez will be stepping into the shoes of Tamanna
Bhatia in the Hindi version.
All three Pritish
Nandy, Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez had serious talks about the film.
They were also spotted at Mehboob studios in Mumbai. Sources say that the
Bollywood star and the actress were impressed by the storyline. They had also
seen the Tamil film recently. The buzz says that they want to materialise the
project soon and the scripting works will be started shortly.
