The battle for the
remake rights of a South movie seems to have begun again. Bollywood A-list
stars, who never lost opportunities to remake successful South Indian movies in
Bollywood, are in the race to bag the remake rights of a successfully-running
Tamil movie. Any guess on the film name? Well, it is none other than Ajith
Kumar starrer Arrambam and it is Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, who wish to have
the remake rights of the Kollywood flick.
According to a daily,
Akshay Kumar is impressed by Arrambam. He has liked the content and has
expressed his wish to remake it in Hindi. Reportedly, he congratulated the
makers of the Tamil film and told them that he wants to take it to the
Bollywood. The talks are in the early stages and nothing has been finalised
yet. It has to be noted that neither the Bollywood star nor the producer has
confirmed the news yet.
On the other end,
Salman Khan has also heard about the success of Arrambam. The actor saw the
movie and like Akshay Kumar, Sallu expressed his wish to remake it in
Bollywood. His people are reportedly are in talks with the Arrambam producer.
