Ajith Kumar's
much-hyped Veeram seems to have passed its last hurdle as the Tamil flick has
passed in the censor tests. The flick has been given clean 'U' certificate from
Regional Censor Board.
The members from the Regional Censor Board saw
Veeram on Tuesday (December 24) and they were happy with the outcomes except
some minors cuts. Hence, they gave 'U' certificate for the Tamil film. With
this development, it is now eligible for 30% Tax exemption from the state
government.
Now, Veeram is all set
to release on January 10 for Pongal and its run time is two hours, forty one
minutes and fifteen seconds. Meanwhile, the makers of the film have started the
promotions of the film. The distribution rights of the Karnataka region has
been sold to a leading Kannada producer K Manju.
Veeram is an action-thriller directed by Siruthai Siva. Ajith Kumar and Tamanna Bhatia is playing the lead roles in the film. Santhanam, Vidharth, Bala, Munish, Suhail, Pradeep Rawat, Nassar and others are in the cast.
