Directed by "Siruthai Siva", "Veeram" revolved around Ajith and his four brothers played by Bala, Vidarth, Munish and Suhail. For the first time, Tamannah plays the female lead opposite Ajith, whereas other cast members include Pradeep Rawat, Santhanam, Ramesh Khanna and Abhinaya.

The film's album, which has five tracks, is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Cinematography is done by Vetri, whereas editing is handled by Kasi Viswanathan. It is produced by Vijaya Productions banner.
